SUMMARY: In this week’s chart from Light Reading’s 2012 Social Media Survey, we examine the social media monitoring tools that telecom professionals are using.
While nearly half of survey respondents have someone in charge of running social media, a lot less used social media monitoring software or applications to keep track of industry trends — that they knew of. Half did not know if they use monitoring software at all, while 39 percent say they do not use any software. The survey asked specifically about Radian6, ScoutLabs, Viral Heat and Alterian, although these four are far from the only options organizations have.
